server service

A configurable part of the Actuate BIRT iServer System framework that controls one or more server processes that provide Caching, Encyclopedia, Factory, Integration, or View functionality. For example, the View service controls the View and Java view processes. The Message Distribution service routes BIRT iServer System messages to the other services. Table G-5 lists the server services.
