shared library
A library of routines loaded and linked into an application at run time in the UNIX and Linux environments. These routines can be called from an Actuate Basic or BIRT report. Actuate BIRT iServer System also uses shared libraries for Actuate Report Server Security Extension (RSSE), drivers for third-party products, and logging.
