Preparing to access data using a database or ODBC driver

To access your database or ODBC data source, you must know the table and column structure of your data. You also need to know the joins that apply to your data source. If you do not know this information, obtain a database schema diagram from your data source administrator. For more information about joins and schemas, refer to the documentation for your database or ODBC data source.

You must ensure that your computer has access to the database or ODBC data source. How you access your data source determines what information you must provide to e.Report Designer Professional to create the connection.
