How to aggregate data in a merged column 1 When working with merged columns, if you choose Aggregation from the context menu, Select Data Item appears. 2 Select the data item or column on which to perform an aggregation, from the drop-down list. Choose OK. You can now create aggregations for each of the columns, as described in the previous sections of this document. To modify each line of data in the merged column, you must repeat this step for each data item, then define the aggregation, each time.
