About the BIRT Designer Professional eclipse directory
On completion of the install process, the eclipse subdirectory contains a fully functional version of BIRT that requires no further Eclipse downloads or installs. This eclipse subdirectory contains the full Eclipse workbench. The subdirectories of the eclipse directory include the following additional Actuate components to provide more functionality:
Language properties files for standard templates
A themes library
ODA JDBC drivers
Localized JAR files for various user interface components
Eclipse features and JAR files that offer additional functionality, including:
The ability to publish a report to Actuate BIRT iHub, cloud server, or Actuate Marketplace
Actuate information object and Actuate data object data sources
