How long can I use iHub, Trial Edition?
You have 45 days to test drive iHub, Trial Edition. On the top right corner of the screen a countdown timer shows you how many days you have left.
How can I extend the trial period?
Seven days before the trial edition expires, you will see a message window popping up. You can apply for an extension by emailing your request to iHubtrialrenewal@actuate.com.

What happens when I extend my trial period?
To renew your trial period, take the following steps:
1 Contact your sales team to request an extension.
2 Upon completion of the transaction, you will receive a new license file and before installing need to agree to a new set of terms.
3 Stop the iHub service.
4 Replace the license file (and follow instructions provided with the new license file).
5 Restart the service.
How can I upgrade iHub, Trial Edition? What are my options?
To upgrade the trial edition to a full iHub license take the following steps:
1 Contact your sales team.
2 Complete the purchasing transaction and agree to a new set of terms to receive a new license file.
3 Stop the iHub service.
4 Replace the license file by following instructions provided with the new license file.
5 Restart the service.
When you've done that, the countdown timer disappears. You will have to separately download and install System Console, as this component is not included in the trial edition. The URL to download System Console is provided in an email after you agree to the new set of terms.
What happens when I apply a new license file for a renewal of the trial period or an upgrade? Will I lose my work?
No, you will not lose your work. By default, all your work is preserved in the relevant folders. However, we advise that you back up your content.
