How to add a report to Mobile Subscriptions
1 Using a web browser, log in to Information Console.
2 In My Documents, choose Mobile Subscriptions. Then, choose Add.
3 In Mobile Subscription, choose Browse, as shown in
Figure 12‑4.

4 Navigate to the folder containing the report, as shown in
Figure 12‑5.

5 In Filter, optionally type a word, or letters to specify a filter to narrow your search. You can use an asterisk * as a wildcard character if you know only the first or last few letters of the report name you want to search for. This feature is helpful if you do not know the exact name to search for. Choose Apply.
Information Console displays the BIRT reports that match the filter you specified.
6 Select the report that you want to view on a mobile device. If necessary, navigate to a different folder. The example in
Figure 12‑6 shows the selection of the Customer Order History report in My Documents/Public/BIRT and BIRT Studio Examples.

Choose OK. Mobile Subscription displays the name and folder location for the selected report.
7 In Mobile Subscription, provide the following information for the selected report:
In Display Name specify a name in place of the file name, to display on the mobile device. The example shown in
Figure 12‑7 uses the display name Customer Order History.

In Bookmark (optional) choose Select to view any bookmarks in the report. Report developers add bookmarks to reports using BIRT Designer Professional or BIRT Studio.
In Orientation, select Portrait or Landscape as the default display mode.
If your report does not require parameter values, go to step
9.
8 If a BIRT report requires parameter values, choose Parameters, as shown in
Figure 12‑8. Select a value from the list that appears to set as the default.

9 Choose Subscribe. Mobile Subscriptions displays the newly added report, as shown in
Figure 12‑9.
