How to select a template for your report
1 When you create a new report, BIRT Studio displays Report Template. In Report Template, select a template category from the drop-down list.
Report Template displays thumbnail images of the templates in the selected category.
Figure 1‑5 shows sample templates in the Standard category included in the default installation of BIRT Studio.

2 To view a description of each template, move your cursor over the thumbnail image of the template.
3 Select a template to use, then choose OK.
