Typically, a legend displays only series item names. The legend can also display the values of series items. To display values in the legend, navigate to the Legend area of Format Chart, then select Show Value, as shown in Figure 17‑74.

A pie chart always shows the legend values, so the Legend section of a pie chart does not include Show Value.
