An outline can distinguish the chart area from the rest of a report. To add an outline, navigate to the Chart Area section of Format Chart. Choose Outline to see the outline options, as shown in Figure 22‑47.

Select Visible to add the outline, then use the Style, Width, and Color fields to change the appearance of the outline.
