The first step in specifying the query for an information object is to choose the maps and information objects used by the query.
How to choose maps and information objects
1 In Navigator, expand the project node and folders to see the maps and information objects.
2 Drag the appropriate maps or information objects from Navigator and drop them in the upper pane of the graphical information object editor. The columns available in each map or information object appear, as shown in Figure 3‑4.

How to open a source map or information object in an editor
If a project contains a large number of maps and information objects, it can become difficult to locate the sources for an information object in Navigator. Instead, you can open a source map or information object directly from the graphical information object editor by clicking the button in the source’s upper right corner, as shown in Figure 3‑5.
