About performance gadgets
Performance gadgets are part of BIRT 360 Plus and display performance objects such as book sections, briefing books, performance maps, and performance views.
Each performance gadget includes a toolbar to enable additional features. For more information about using performance objects, see User Guide for BIRT Performance Scorecard.
The following gadgets are available in the performance category:
Book section gadget
This gadget displays a section from a briefing book on the dashboard. Sections are pages or chapters within a briefing book. You can drill-down in displayed measures and use the book toolbar to access additional features such as displaying a time period and comparing data.

Briefing book gadget
This gadget displays a briefing book on the dashboard. Briefing books are a collection of performance measures and locations, organized by individual sections, which are tabs in the book. You can view different sections and use the book toolbar to access features such as displaying a time period and comparing data.

Performance map gadget
This gadget displays a performance map on the dashboard. You can open links to other objects, such as a briefing book or performance view and use the map toolbar to access features such as displaying a time period and comparing data.

Performance view gadget
A performance view gadget displays performance views on the dashboard. Views show measures, locations, and data in a hierarchical structure. You can drill down in displayed measures and locations and use the view toolbar to access additional features such as displaying a time period and comparing data.
