About general properties
Properties—General provides the means to uniquely identify a file or folder.
For a file, Properties—General specifies:
Name
File type
Version number and name
Size, by page count if applicable, and by size on disk
Description
Owner
Creation date
If you are uploading a file or changing the name or type of a file, Properties—General supports replacing the latest version of a file, or creating a new version, while keeping a specified number of existing versions.
